Flying for Wildlife
Asana Holidays are proud supporters of Flying for Wildlife, a conservation flying Trust dedicated to preserving wildlife throughout Zimbabwe. FFW was created to assist the conservation of wildlife regions and set about using private aircraft as aerial tools in the National Parks of Zimbabwe. In conjunction with National Parks and with the logistical help of lodges and camps throughout the country Flying for Wildlife is able to cover thousands of kilometres every year to complete reconnaissance work. The charity now has 2 of its own aircraft and is well supported by local and international donors.
Victoria Falls Anti Poaching Unit
The Victoria Falls Anti-Poaching Unit (VFAPU) – a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of local wildlife and natural resources in Victoria Falls. The organisation aims to protect wildlife and habitats from poacher pressure and rescues and rehabilitates animals injured by human interference. The organisation also plays an active role in educating schools and communities on human and animal conflict. Asan Holidays supports the organisation with monthly donations dedicated to the pertinent conservation of wildlife within Victoria Falls.
Pristine Victoria Falls Society
The Pristine Victoria Falls Society (PVFS) is a community-based movement set up in October 2021 with a clear objective to ensure a litter-free and sustainable environment. PVFS has a broader, collective and collaborative approach from all organisations and individuals that, not only addresses the symptoms, but also attempts to treat the root causes of littering before it hits the streets of our City. Asana is a proud supporter of the initiative and actively takes part in its pledges to promote rubbish reduction and recycling while also maintaining and looking after their designated areas within Victoria Falls.
